The Hardened Command Center for Unmanned & Autonomous Fleets
The Requirement
Unmanned and autonomous fleets are commanded from somewhere. As fleet size, autonomy, and mission tempo increase, that place has to satisfy three conditions at once: it must sit close to where the systems are built, integrated, and flown; it must be secure enough to hold the mission data and the link; and it must keep operating when the grid, the building, and the commercial carrier network do not.
Conventional answers fail one of those three. A leased hall in a distant metro is far from the flight line. A permanent on-site building is a multi-year construction program with a real-property footprint. A rack in a shared data center depends on someone else's power and someone else's network.
What Ironclad Delivers
Ironclad builds the command center itself: a hardened, powered, networked module — enclosure, containment, cooling, consoles, and comms — factory-integrated and fully tested in the United States before it ships, then set on a pad at the operating location and brought up in hours.

Software-Agnostic by Design
Ironclad does not build mission software or command-and-control applications, and does not operate the mission. There is no Ironclad software layer between an operator and their fleet, no proprietary platform dependency, and no lock-in. Operators bring the stack they have already accredited and trained on; Ironclad guarantees the facility it runs inside.
This boundary is deliberate. It keeps mission authority with the mission owner, keeps Ironclad out of the accreditation path for mission software, and lets the same infrastructure serve operators running entirely different autonomy stacks.
Siting — Equipment, Not Construction
The module is equipment, not a brick-and-mortar building. It is not permanently affixed to real estate, which means it can be acquired on a direct purchase order rather than a construction contract, depreciated on an equipment schedule, and relocated when the mission moves. For a program whose basing may change, the command center is no longer a stranded improvement on someone else's ground.
- Co-located at manufacturing, integration, and flight-test locations, next to the systems being flown.
- Forward-deployed at the operating site, on a prepared pad.
- Relocatable by road, rail, or maritime transport as basing changes.
Continuity of Operations
A command center that stops commanding is a mission failure, so continuity is specified into the module rather than assumed from the site.
- Power. Where utility capacity is adequate, the module uses it. Where it is not, Ironclad-owned generation mounts on a skid alongside the module, inside the Ironclad demarcation, configured N+1, with grid interconnection as standby only.
- Network. Dark fiber from the cable landing station as the primary path, with satellite diversity as an independent second path on separate infrastructure. No carrier sits in the data path.
- Shielding. HEMP, EMP, EMI and RFI protection engineered to MIL-STD-188-125-1A or -2, with RF attenuation of 60 dB standard and 100 dB available against NSA 94-106.
- Structure. Welded steel rated to 250 mph wind and engineered for seismic loading, built to Department of Defense forced-entry and ballistic-resistance requirements.
Compute Alongside Command
Autonomous programs increasingly need inference and model work adjacent to operations — perception model refinement, mission rehearsal, simulation, and post-mission processing — where moving the data off-site is slow, expensive, or not permitted. Because Ironclad modules are compute modules, command and compute can be deployed in the same envelope and operated to one standard, in approximately 1 MW increments, on current-generation NVIDIA HGX B200 and B300 Blackwell platforms, in air- or liquid-cooled configurations sized to the workload.
Sovereignty and Provenance
Customer keys stay with the customer, workloads run in hardware-attested confidential computing and are encrypted in memory, and Ironclad has no technical means to read customer data at any privilege level. No supplier in the trust path — silicon, compute platform, containment, cooling, enclosure, or maintenance — originates outside the United States and allied jurisdictions. Hardware is US-origin and export-controlled where relevant.
Delivery
For US federal and defense programs, Ironclad delivers this infrastructure as a subcontractor under a prime's existing contract vehicle. Contracting, mission integration, and program authority remain with the prime and the government customer. Ironclad's scope is the enclosure, the power, the network, the containment, and the sustained operation of all four.
