Sovereign & Defense Compute

Hardened, self-powered compute for sovereign and defense missions.

Ironclad Defense is the government configuration of the Ironclad platform: a hardened, relocatable compute module — optionally self-powered — delivered with the operating discipline that regulated and classified work requires. We build and operate the infrastructure. The mission stays with the mission owner.


01How We Deliver

Compute and C2 infrastructure, delivered as a subcontractor.

For US federal and defense work, Ironclad delivers compute and command-and-control infrastructure as a subcontractor under a prime's existing contract vehicle. We do not present ourselves as a prime. Our scope is the infrastructure: the enclosure, the power, the network, the containment, and the sustained operation of all four.

Scope discipline

Ironclad supplies infrastructure and operations. Contracting, mission integration, and program authority remain with the prime and the government customer. Where a teaming relationship governs a pursuit, that relationship and its vehicle belong to our partners — we do not publish or trade on them.

02The Command Center

We build the command center. You bring the software.

Unmanned and autonomous fleets need somewhere to be commanded from — and that place has to work when the grid, the building, and the carrier network do not. Ironclad builds the hardened, powered, networked command center: deployable, self-powered, and shielded, integrated and tested before it ships.

Deployable
Factory-integrated and tested in the United States, then relocated to the operating site. A pad, not a building.
Self-powered — optional
Where the site lacks adequate utility capacity, Ironclad-owned generation mounts on a skid alongside the module, inside our demarcation, configured N+1. Grid interconnection then serves as standby only.
Hardened
Welded steel enclosure, HEMP shielded, built to US classified-facility construction standards.
Networked
Dark fiber from the cable landing station with satellite diversity. No carrier in the data path.
Software-agnostic
The operator brings the mission stack. Ironclad imposes no software dependency, no platform lock, and no proprietary layer between the operator and their fleet.
Stated plainly

Ironclad does not build mission software or command-and-control applications, and does not operate the mission. We build and operate the hardened, powered, networked facility those applications run inside.

02.AAutonomous Systems C2

A vertical of its own, not a variant of a data center.

Autonomous systems C2 is a distinct Ironclad market. Unmanned and autonomous fleets are commanded from somewhere, and that somewhere increasingly needs to sit next to where the systems are built, integrated, and flown — not in a leased hall three states away, and not dependent on the local grid or a carrier network to stay up.

What we deliver
The hardened, powered, networked command center itself — enclosure, generation, containment, network, consoles, and comms, integrated and tested before it ships.
Where it sits
Sited with the operator — co-located at manufacturing, integration, and flight-test locations, or forward at the operating site. Equipment on a pad, so siting is a decision, not a construction program.
What stays yours
The mission stack, the autonomy software, the fleet, and the decisions. Ironclad is software-agnostic and does not build mission or C2 applications.
Why it holds up
HEMP shielded and connected by owned fiber with satellite diversity — and where the site requires it, self-powered with N+1 generation inside our demarcation, so it keeps commanding when the grid and the carrier do not.
03Sovereign & Allied Government Compute

Reserved capacity, sited under your law.

Sovereign and allied government programs contract reserved capacity on a take-or-pay basis, with data residency pinned by data class. The module sits in-country; the workload stays in the jurisdiction it is required to stay in.

04Sovereignty

Sovereignty in three senses, not as a slogan.

Legal sovereignty
The asset is sited in-country and the data sits under host-nation law. Jurisdiction is a physical fact of the deployment, not a contractual assurance about someone else's cloud region.
Operational sovereignty
The customer determines what runs and who is admitted. Ironclad operates the infrastructure, not the mission — we keep the facility available and let the customer decide what it is used for.
Cryptographic sovereignty
The customer holds the keys. Workloads run in hardware-attested confidential computing and are encrypted in memory, so Ironclad has no technical means to read customer data at any privilege level — including our own administrators.
05Provenance

No supplier in the trust path from outside allied jurisdictions.

Provenance is specified, not assumed. No supplier in the trust path — silicon, compute platform, containment, cooling, enclosure, or maintenance — originates outside the United States and allied jurisdictions.

Hardware origin

Hardware is US-origin and export-controlled where relevant. Sustainment is delivered through a partner operating in 190 countries, certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 — described by capability and credential, as all Ironclad supplier relationships are.

06Certifications

Engineered to the control baselines. Certified on the deployment clock.

Ironclad platforms are designed and built to satisfy the control baselines below — architecture, documentation, and operating procedures are specified against them from day one, not retrofitted to pass an audit later. Certification is scoped and contractually committed to service commencement, because these attestations audit a system in operation: a Type II report requires an observation window, and an authorization requires something to authorize. We build to the standard first, then certify on schedule.

Why we state it this way

Ironclad distinguishes what is held from what is committed, and holds itself to the committed date. A counterparty evaluating sovereign infrastructure should be able to rely on every claim we make — the discipline that makes this statement conservative is the same discipline that makes the uptime commitment credible.
